Valentine's day is quickly approaching, and we’re blessed with a wide range of activities in our local area that can provide you and your significant other with a day to remember. We’ve searched high and low to find what we think are 3 of the best ways to celebrate February 14th in Savannah this year.
Let’s get started.
1.) Savannah Riverboat Cruises
Savannah Riverboat Cruises return this year with their annual Valentine's day cruise event. As you’d expect it’s a magical evening spent aboard a stunning cruise ship as you gently meander down the Savannah River. You’ll board the ship at around 6 pm for a departure time of 7 pm. Despite us being blessed with glorious weather here in Savannah for most of the year, it does get a little rainy during these winter months. Here are a few of the best attractions and activities we recommend you check out when the weather is a little wetter in 2019.
1.) Escape Rooms
Escape rooms have seemingly come out of nowhere to captivate and entertain people from all over the world in an instant. Savannah is home to numerous escape rooms, all of which are highly regarded. We recommend wearing something that you will feel comfortable wearing for an extended period of time. Depending on the home, you may have to walk up and down stairs or may go for a walk outside to view a large backyard.

Buying a property for the first time can be a little bit overwhelming. Even with guidance from an experienced and personable real estate agent, you’ll still be learning the ropes right up until the moment you sign on the dotted line (and beyond).
Buying your first home is almost always going to be the biggest transaction you’ve made in your life up until this point, so it’s important you’re aware of some rookie mistakes that are best avoided.
Here are 4 things that we think all first-time buyers need to know before they commit to a purchase and sign on the dotted line.
1) Don’t Take The First Mortgage You’re Offered
Applying for mortgages is no one’s idea of fun. Long forms, personal questions, and hours spent in and out of banks talking about huge sums of money and decades of your life is, quite frankly, exhausting.
